All classes listed below are held in the The Lotus Room, First Floor, Unity House, 21 Fennel Street, Loughborough, LE11 1UQ. Map. Click here for more details.

Session numbers are limited to ensure that everyone receives optimum attention and guidance, so pre-booking is essential. Please complete the Client Enrolment Form before your first visit.

All courses need to be booked and paid for in advance. For further details see Terms and Conditions of Booking.

There is an online class Swap Board facility which allows replacement sessions to be booked during the current course period. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to qualify for a class exchange - see here.

EARLY SPRING YOGA COURSES

Early Spring yoga courses will run for 7 weeks from the week beginning 11 March to the week ending 9 May. There will be an Easter holiday break from Tuesday 16 to Monday 22 April inclusive. Classes will resume from Tuesday 23 through to Monday 29 April inclusive. There will then be a break for training from Tuesday 30 April (11 am class as usual but no evening classes ) until Tuesday 7 May (no morning class but 6.30 pm and 7.45 pm classes as usual). The final week of the course will run through to Thursday 9 May. Late Spring courses start on Monday 13 May 2019.

This slightly more energetic session will focus on strength and flexibility, and is suitable for those who have Wed experience of yoga and are used to a reasonable level of physical activity. Each session will conclude with a well-deserved deep relaxation.
Cost is £40 for 7 weeks.

Drop-in Classes

If you are unable to come to a regular class, you can attend a pre-booked one-off session at £7. Although places cannot be guaranteed on a weekly basis, I can advise you by email at the beginning of each week on availability.

Wellbeing Sessions and Courses

Alongside yoga, meditation, and relaxation, the Lotus Room offers a range of wellbeing sessions and courses.

Mindfulness for Health & Wellbeing

Sundays 1900 - 2045
Devised by Julian Daizan Skinner, creator and founder of Zenways, this course combines simple but extremely effective techniques that have been tried and tested over centuries in the Zen tradition with recent scientific research into the benefits of mindfulness. Both meditation and mindfulness help you to develop the inner resources to cope with the challenges you face in life. This course is suitable if you want an introduction to meditation and also if you need to deal with particular stress-related problems.
Cost is £120.00 for 8 weeks from Sunday 1 September 2019 (course ends on 20 October). Includes all the course materials and recorded guided meditations for you to practice at home.

T'ai Chi

Wednesdays 1000 - 1100
This ancient Chinese, gentle, slow-motion movement and breathing system is suitable for all ages and abilities. Improve balance and co-ordination, breathing and circulation, strength and fitness, relaxation and harmony. No floor work.
